Kurtis Perrie Conant is an emerging Toronto-based sound artist studying Electronic Engineering Technology at Seneca Polytechnic. Interested in merging different styles of electronic and acoustic music, Kurtis uses a combination of experimental digital and analogue techniques in his work. 

 

In 2020, Kurtis joined the team at a local recording studio, Number 9 Audio Group, eventually working as Studio Manager. Unfortunately, in December 2022, a fire incident led to the studio's closure. Following this setback, Kurtis redirected his focus towards audio product development and music technology. His studies in electronics moves him towards his goals of innovating in music technology, drawing inspiration from his personal music practice.

Kurtis is enthusiastic about collaborating with fellow creatives who share a passion for sonic experimentation.
